The tools we have available to us today to multiply our human productive capacity is staggering. Robotics, quantum computing, AI and blockchain are 4 of the many things that will alter society and the world as we know it.
Robots powered by AI have the capacity to virtually replace human physical labor.
It's impossible to imagine how AI will shape the future of everything we do.
Quantum computing - Computers the size of a refrigerator are now more powerful than all of the computing power in the world just a few decades ago.
Blockchain has the ability to mathematically verify and record transactions in all areas of our lives. Financial, informational, contractual, etc. It has the potential to be our future incorruptible vessel for storing and transferring monetary value.
When it comes to Smile Solutions of Baltimore, I'm always on the lookout for new ways in which technology can improve our patient's experience and outcomes.
I see a future where ALL design and manufacturing of dental restorations and prosthetics is done IN-HOUSE. We're already pushing the envelope of what's possible with our 3D scanners, 3D CBCT x-ray machine, 3 milling machines, 3D printer and design station powered by software that, historically, only dental laboratories have had access to.
We are 100% committed to continuing to blend traditional and proven dentistry principles with the most cutting edge technology available.
We, as humans living through this time in history, must remain open-minded and willing to learn new workflows and ways of doing things. As this exponential age of change ramps up it will be those adopt and utilize these tools that are successful.
Will you roll with the inevitable and multiply your productivity or will you ignore it or live in denial?
We're all in different stages of life. We work in different careers and have varied skillsets. I only ask that you reflect on how you can use the coming Exponential Age in your favor and not get caught off guard with the changes that are coming.
Are you ready?
Let's go!

She was a cook/pastry chef for her first career for 7 years and somehow found her niche in dentistry. Seamlessly transitioning to what her mom calls "from causing cavities to fixing them."
